Today I’ll tell you about my semester.
To start I should say that last year was
very tiring for me because I must travel about 5 hours daily between university
and home. So, this year I need to reduce my course load and because of that I
enjoyed all my subjects (they are 4). But my favorite one was “Products and
services of forests” because in this subject I learn what kind of things can
give us forests but also, how forest influence people’s life. The teacher makes
me realize that we use forests daily in many ways even when we live in cities,
they can give us food, clean up our air, timber, recreation areas and sense of
belonging.
In this subject, we have theoretical classes
most part of the time but practical activities too in the university
facilities. Its contents are divided in two parts, the first one is about forest’s
products and was the easiest. The second one is about forest’s services by Dr.
Claudia Cerda, who teach us to see the global image in environmental issues and
I like that.
